April 2019. The Lower Forty-Eight (Fiction) is now on display at the Hjemkomst Center in Moorhead, MN. This is part of the annual Fargo-Moorhead Visual Artists group exhibition.

April 2019. The exhibit Yield, combining previous work on this project with recent graphite sketches, is now on display at the Red Raven in Fargo, ND.

January 2019. One of my United States maps, HHOSTILE, is part of the North Dakota Human Rights Arts and Film Festival Exhibit. The show will travel between Fargo, Bismarck, and Grand Forks.

October 2017. Alongside artist Amber White, my recent pen drawings will be on display at the University of Minnesota, Morris. The title of the exhibit is Topographies.

February 2017. I am spending the month as a fellowship recipient at the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, VT. The focus on my work will be deveolpment and expansion of the Lower Forty-Eight series.

December 2016. My artwork proposal has been selected by the design team at the soon-to-be Prairie Roots Food Co-op in Fargo, ND. This commissioned public work will be a large-scale, multi-panel painting to be completed in the upcoming winter months.

October 2016. Wonderful news! I have been awarded a fellowship to attend the Vermont Studio Center for the month of February 2017. This will be my second residency at VSC.

February–March 2015. One of my drawings is part of the biannual Wabi Sabi exhibit at the Spirit Room in Fargo, ND.

October–November 2014. The Notes from New Yorks Mills, MN series has migrated to Fosston, MN for a two-month exhibit at the Fosston Public Library.

August 2014. Nine drawings from the Notes from New Yorks Mills, MN series are now on exhibit at River Walk Artists in East Grand Forks, MN. A reception will take place 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday August 16.

April 14, 2014. 6:30 p.m. Opening reception for the Art of Man group exhibit at the Campbell Public LIbrary in East Grand Forks, MN. The show will include four new drawings from the series I recently completed on a residency in New York Mills, MN.

March 31, 2014. I have participated in a print exchange titled Atlas and organized by Nick Flatley. The exchange, which includes work by fifteen printmakers, is currently on display at the Jan Brandt Gallery in Bloomington, IL.

March 2014. The installation Yield is on display at Dakota Harvest Bakers in Grand Forks, ND now through early May.

March 6, 2014. 8:00 p.m. Artst Talk at the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center.

March 2014. A new drawing of mine is part of The Great Winter Crow Show at the Spirit Room in downtown Fargo, ND. The show will be up through April 11.

February–March 2014. I am embarking on an eight-week artist residency at the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center in the town of New York Mills, MN. The Center has posted a blurb about my work; view the article here.

January 2014. A solo exhibition of my work will open January 16 at the Third Street Gallery in downtown Grand Forks, ND. An opening reception will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday January 16. The show will feature mixed media prints and drawings from my ongoing North Dakota State Map series.

December 2013. The Northwest Minnesota Arts Council has awarded a grant to help fund my projects and residencies throughout winter and spring of 2014.

November 2013. I have just been accepted as an incoming resident in the Printmaking Education and Research Studio (PEARS) at North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND. I have also booked two upcoming solo exhibits in Grand Forks, ND, for early 2014.

February 27, 2013. I have been accepted for an artist residency at Art Center Haihatus in central Finland for the month of May.

February 2013. I have just completed a new collaborative book project, entitled 32 Words with Joe Dacus and Brett Lysne. As with my other recent artist books, the words for each page were written in a word association game with my collaborator. More images are available under Collaborative Books.

December 2012. My current collaborative project, Presence Map, is in its final stages. The internet-based text project includes submitted text from 26 Facebook contacts. I'll make documentation available on my website after the participants receive their drawings in the mail in the upcoming weeks.

September 2012. I have moved to Toulouse, France.

June 2012. For the month of June, I am working as a resident artist at the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, VT. I'm working on a new series, North Dakota State Maps, as well as small collaborative artists books with text contributed by fellow artists and poets at VSC.

April 6, 2012. 6:00 p.m. MFA Thesis Exhibition, opening reception. My thesis project, Comfort Shift, will be on display at the WSU Museum of Art through the month of April.

March 2012. As part of the group exhibit Belles Lettres, three of my pieces will be on display at the Altered Aesthetics gallery in Minneapolis, MN.
